Prerequisites

To use the CARIS Python binding, the following must be installed on the workstation where the scripts will be executed:

  • BASE Editor TM OR HIPS TM and SIPS TM OR HPD TM

  • Python 3.9, 3,10, or 3.11. If using the Coverage module, the numpy Python module must also be installed.

Note

The architecture of Python must match that of the installed CARIS application, i.e. 64-bit.
