Nautical Chart Production with CARIS Paper Chart Composer

This fully updated self-paced online training course is designed to provide you with a good basic understanding of how to create and manage nautical paper charts in a digital production environment using the CARIS Paper Chart Composer desktop software program. Learn how to create and populate charts; add borders, marginalia, text and other cartographic features; mask features; validate chart contents; and, export and print completed charts. This course is based on CARIS Paper Chart Composer 4.1 and a valid entitlement (EMS license) is required for you to complete the training exercise portion of the course (the software and license are not included with the course).
