The CARIS World Tour recently held two more stops on its journey around the globe, Wellington, New Zealand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Held at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor and organized in cooperation with Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), the 3-day workshop in Wellington was well attended by hydrographers, cartographers, marine geologists, and geophysicists alike.
The Kuala Lumpur event was hosted at the Impiana KLCC Hotel and had a great turnout as well. There were over 50 attendees on Day 1, and 25 for the featured workshops on Days 2 and 3.
Both 3-day World Tour workshops provided an opportunity for the marine community to learn about the next generation of CARIS™ software architecture, as well as other technology trends that are reshaping the hydrographic industry.
