Teledyne CARIS is pleased to offer marine and hydrographic professionals in the United States access to training on the latest technology across the Ping-to-Chart workflow.
A training course has been scheduled at the Teledyne CARIS USA office in Alexandria, VA for existing and prospective customers.
HIPS and SIPS 11.0 Training
This comprehensive training session focuses on leading data processing, visualization, quality control and product creation techniques using the latest release, HIPS and SIPS 11.0. The latest technology in the software will be covered during the course in order to enable participants to improve processing efficiencies and gain more control over the quality of their hydrographic data.
Topics covered during the training will include support for new data formats such as Kongsberg KMALL, R2Sonic TruePix for Sidescan and Multiple bottom detections, as well as other new features that were released earlier this year with version 10.3. This course is aimed at both new HIPS and SIPS users who want to learn about the functionality and how to use the software correctly and efficiently, as well as existing users that would like to update their skills on the latest developments.
Note: A basic understanding of hydrographic/topographic data and the use of computers is assumed for all course attendees.
