CARIS has a New Vice President of US Operations

CARIS is pleased to announce a new Vice President of CARIS USA. Paul R. Cooper has joined the CARIS executive team and will be responsible for directing all aspects of the company's US operations.

    Mr. Cooper has more than 30 years experience in geospatial data collection, management and leadership in the US federal government and private industry. He comes to CARIS from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he served as an International Business Developer. There he developed business opportunities in Integrated Oceanographic Observations Systems and in the National Science Foundation Oceanographic Observing Initiative.

    Previously, he served as Director of the Naval Oceanographic Office International Program, a program which developed bilateral relationships between the United States and other nations to conduct surveys and foster capacity building efforts in the fields of hydrography, oceanography and cartography.
